Happy Friday Morning! Yay! We made it through the week.
I have a super easy refashion to share with you.
I found this red dress at Goodwill for $3.50. It was too big, but I loved the neckline and knew it had potential.
The first thing I did was remove the side zipper.
Next, I put the dress inside out on my dress form for a fitting.
Once the dress was fitted, I traced the pin line with tailor's chalk and removed the pins.
Because the dress is stretchy and fits easily, I decided not to reinstall the zipper. I stitched over where it would have been.
Lastly, I trimmed up the sides with my pinking shears.
I can't believe how easy this refashion was. Now I have a lovely red sleeveless dress for the Holidays in Hawaii.
Another frum to fab refashion.
Wow! Such a simple refashion with amazing results!
